The sky that wouldn't wait

 The Sky That Wouldn’t Wait

One morning in Blantyre, the sun came up quickly, as if it was in a hurry. From her balcony, Sarah saw the golden light spread across the houses like honey in the sky.

She was ready to go to work, but something felt different. The air was soft and warm. The clouds had a strange shine, like they were keeping a secret.

When she walked down the street, she heard music. It was soft, carried by the wind. It was not from the market or the church. It felt like it came from above.

Then she saw it — a kite flying very high, higher than any kite should. It had colours she had never seen before. People stopped, looked up, and smiled without knowing why.

Sarah didn’t know who was flying the kite or why it was there. But she understood one thing — the world sometimes gives small miracles in the sky. You just have to remember to look up.
